Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Regal Rambles. By using our website and booking services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.


1. General
  • • Regal Rambles reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be effective once published on our website.
  • • It is your responsibility to review these terms before each booking. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
  • • Services are available to individuals over the age of 18. Clients under 18 may book only through a parent or guardian.
  • • We reserve the right to decline bookings, refuse payments, or cancel arrangements at our discretion where necessary.

2. Booking & Payments
  • • A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment and issuance of a written confirmation from us.
  • • For most bookings, a 50% advance payment is required at the time of reservation, with the balance due no later than 7 days before arrival.
  • • Payments may be made by bank transfer, SWIFT, or Cash (USD/EURO/GBP). All bank charges must be borne by the client.
  • • Prices quoted are based on prevailing exchange rates and local tariffs at the time of booking. Adjustments may be made only if mandated by government taxes or regulatory changes.

3. Cancellations & Refunds
By the Client:

• Cancellations must be communicated in writing (email or official letter). Refunds will be made according to the following schedule:

  • o More than 30 days before arrival – 80% refund of total payment made.
  • o 15–30 days before arrival – 40% refund of total payment made.
  • o Less than 14 days before arrival – No refund.

• No refunds will be issued for no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures.


By the Company:

• In the unlikely event we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., force majeure), we will refund all payments received or offer an alternative package of similar value.


4. Changes to Itinerary

• Minor adjustments may be made due to local conditions, weather, or supplier availability. Such changes will be communicated in advance where possible.

• Clients requesting changes after confirmation (e.g., hotel upgrades, date changes) will be responsible for any additional costs incurred.


5. Travel Documents & Insurance

• Clients are responsible for ensuring valid passports, visas, health documents, and insurance coverage before traveling.

• We spanly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, cancellations, lost luggage, and other risks.


6. Health, Safety & Fitness

• It is your responsibility to assess your fitness and suitability for the chosen itinerary.

• Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.

• We may request a medical clearance for travelers aged 70 and above or those with specific conditions.


7. Liability & Limitations

• Regal Rambles acts as an agent for hotels, transport providers, and other service suppliers. While we carefully select partners, we cannot be held responsible for their acts, omissions, or defaults.

• We accept no liability for loss, damage, delay, illness, or injury caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to force majeure events such as natural disasters, strikes, or political unrest.

• Clients are responsible for safeguarding personal belongings throughout the trip.


7. Liability & Limitations

• We accept no liability for loss, damage, delay, illness, or injury caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to force majeure events such as natural disasters, strikes, or political unrest.

• Clients are responsible for safeguarding personal belongings throughout the trip.


8. Special Requests

• Special requests (e.g., dietary needs, room preferences) must be communicated at the time of booking. While we strive to meet these, we cannot guarantee all requests will be fulfilled.


9. Complaints Procedure

• Any dissatisfaction should first be raised immediately with the local service provider (e.g., hotel management) or our representative.

• If the issue is not resolved, clients must notify Regal Rambles in writing within 48 hours.

• Complaints submitted after travel without following this procedure may not be considered.


10. Governing Law

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

• Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.


By confirming a booking with Regal Rambles, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
